Silent Skate, formerly Free Skateshop, is owned and operated by skateboarder Blair Scott.
Blair got into skateboarding as a teenager because of his love for Supreme and skate magazines. He has been skateboarding for years yet he still manages to be bad at it 90% of the time. Regardless of this fact, Blair’s skateboarding knowledge is unmatched. He has studied it like it was his job, and because of this he now gives amazing skateboarding advice to people on the internet. He claims that his motivation for this is to help new skaters adjust to the activity, but really, he just enjoys the ego boost he gets when someone admits that he gave them good advice.
Regardless of his motivations, Blair’s advice has helped many new skaters get into the activity. This website is Blair’s medium that he uses to share his advice with skaters from all around the world.
