How to Biggerspin (with Images) – Skateboard Tricks

If you are comfortable with Bigspins, the Biggerspin will be a natural elevation and it won’t give you too much trouble on flat ground. For most of the skaters, it is way easier to make the back side Biggerspin than the front side because when going front side you lose sight of the board for a moment and the landing gets much more difficult.

Let`s try Backside Biggerspin first. For those that are not yet familiar with this trick, we should describe it as a backside 180 with 540 Shove-it.
Assuming your backside Bigspins are perfect, you only need to adjust the power of the flick and make sure you send your board into Shove-it rotation stronger and faster. Use your back foot to give more power to the turn.

As always when doing 180 tricks, pay attention to the shoulder rotation!

The best way to go for a landing is that you catch the board in 360 Shove-it position and then go for a backside 180 rotation. This will lead the board into an extra 540 spin that you wanna add at Biggerspin. Even if you do the back side 180 at the very end, just as a gentle powerslide once you are already on the ground, it won’t make it bad at all. After all, this is quite an advanced trick and all the shortcuts count when learning.
